Pain to Passion and Purpose

Beginning from the young age of 13 years old, I began the ever-evolving chase of weight loss. The summer before high school I refused to start school on the heavier side and lost about twenty pounds that summer. I did so by simply brisk walking and watching what I ate on a daily basis. This seems so easy compared to the obstacles that confront me now at the beautiful age of 49 years old!

As you may have guessed, I have had quite the roller coaster ride over the years trying to establish a better relationship with myself, food and exercise. Throughout this blog, I will go into more details, but for the time being, I will simply give a brief overview because I believe it is so important to relate to the people that we listen to and surround ourselves with.

From high school on, I went through everything from gaining a decent chunk of weight to losing more than enough all while not focusing on how I was actually treating myself. By the time I hit my thirties I knew that I would be transforming my pain into the superpower of relating and truly helping others. I will never claim to have all the answers, as life is always changing, but I always do my best to be the best role model and continue to strive for more.

Fast forward to present day, I am a mom to our son Jack who is currently five years old, wife to my husband James for 8 years now, and employed as a solo business owner! My life is wonderful and chaotic all at the same time. I truly love to workout hence why part of my business is to inflict that joy on others by training them! My other hobbies right now are super simple as there just does not seem to be a ton of room for them, but they include hiking and nature walks, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I also love astrology and tarot reading. Overall, I love my life, but I am currently working towards feeling a little more excited with more life adventures!

I would love to hear from all of you at any time! The more we share, the more our journey can make more sense to us and clarity sets in. I am excited to share through writing and will continue to post on social media as well. I have lots of topics to express my thoughts about, but again, would love any suggestions that you have as well!

Every day is a new day to feel amazing :)

Liz
